MATT CARDIN is the editor of Born to Fear: Interviews with Thomas Ligotti, for which he received a World Fantasy Award nomination. He also contributed three essays to The Thomas Ligotti Reader. He has edited academic encyclopedias on the paranormal; mummies in history, religion, and popular culture; and the history of horror literature. He is the author of the weird fiction collection Divinations of the Deep, the horror fiction-and-nonfiction collection Dark Awakenings, and a forthcoming omnibus horror fiction collection To Rouse Leviathan. He has an M.A. in religious studies from Missouri State University and a B.A. in communication from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and he teaches English and philosophy/religion at Ranger College in Stephenville, Texas. JON PADGETT is the creator and co-administrator of Thomas Ligotti Online. He has work out or forthcoming in Pseudopod, The Lovecraft eZine and Xnoybis. Padgett’s first short story collection, The Secret of Ventriloquism, is forthcoming from Dunhams Manor Press, Autumn 2016.  He lives in New Orleans with his spouse, their daughter, and two cats.

KEVIN MOQUIN writes under the pen name Arthur Staaz. His short fiction has been published or accepted for publication at Pseudopod, Nameless Digest, Morpheus Tales, and Gone Lawn, among others. His alter ego posts all too infrequently to his blog Cold, Dark, Empty. Kevin lives in New Hampshire and by day works as an attorney – and therein lies the true horror.
